    Thanks for the comments, I certainly understand the frustration around how we sync contact data to Salesforce. Please be assured that we are working on a much more robust solution for our integration to allow more custom logic in terms of data mapping and more control of the types of data used throughout the integration. That includes not just contacts but all objects.

    Thank you for submitting your request. We've run into issues in the past where member data from Classy has not been updated in years, and the billing information is the most recent and accurate. However, I believe it makes sense to give the org the ability to decide which information they want to use. We'll investigate this as a team and see when we can add to our development track.

    Hello all, this is a highly requested feature and we are working hard at Classy to make this available to our clients. Our engineering teams are actively in progress on building out this functionality, but in parallel our security team is also assessing the necessary security controls and automated auditing in order to protect our customers from any platform impact that can occur. I'm planning on providing an update later in March as we finalize our security requirements and move closer to a general release.

    We do a ton of test campaigns and have old ones that I don't need to see but don't want to delete. Would be great to archive them.

    You're exactly correct, it's an auto-incrementing integer. Both offline and online donations are stored as transactions and are assigned unique auto-incremented integers as IDs. You're best bet is to talk to Omatic about how you can adjust the formatting of those IDs since they're already appending that CL prefix.

    Hi Clint, thanks for the suggestion. Just to be clear are you using our Omatic Raiser's Edge integration or a custom solution? Classy itself uses a simple integer sequence for generating transaction IDs, but we don't currently offer a way of modifying that ID; it would be up to the implementation to perform any masking.

    If you have a chance please let me know how you're getting Classy data into RE, as this will help me better understand this process.

    Hi Lisa,

    I don't have a timeframe for releasing this capability. I'm currently working with the team to determine the best way of implementing the full offline registration workflow. Once we have an understanding of how we'll implement we will have a more accurate idea of the timeframe.

    Since the recurring plan is on a monthly frequency, then the charges must be at least 1 month apart. Therefore, if the last charge was on June 4th, then the next charge date must be July 4th or later.

    Ah, got it! We are actually looking at how to create a retry system to better capture the missed donations when the initial charge failed. More of that to come!

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately I don't have an update yet on webhooks. I wish I had more concrete details as this is a highly requested feature. I'm continuing to push for this as a product manager and I'll be sure to update here as soon as I have more details.

    This is a great idea! Currently, many organization choose to use the “Parent Campaign” field on a Campaign record created by Classy to parent it to an existing Salesforce Campaign record. In fact, this is a great way to combine hierarchy data from multiple Classy Campaign records together. We’ll update this request as we consider other improvements that can be made to linking with existing Campaign records.

    @Roger, thanks for adding in your use case. Just to clarify, Campaigns do indeed sync over on create in Classy (even before the initial donation) if you on our newest Classy for Salesforce version (as of this post it's 6.23).

    Please let our support team know (salesforce-support@classy.org) if you are not seeing Campaigns create in real-time.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the request, and I certainly understand where you're coming from. The primary permission we need is simply to write our data to our API Request custom object, which is a queue for processing our data. If there are restrictions on other objects we could run into issues where we actually can't save data.

    Is the primary need to restrict individuals or profiles access to certain objects/data? I'm trying to get an idea of the permission sets we would need to create to support this request, and the types of access you might imagine (accounting/finance, development, fundraiser management, etc).

    Thanks for the feedback! We are currently re-evaluating how our customers can save reports and query data with our reporting interface itself. At this time, you can pull data relating to custom questions and custom answers via the API.

    Hi everyone. Love the ideas, but there seems there are a few mixed ideas in here. Lots of new improvements have come out in the recent past with the new fundraising suite that have empowered some of these, but not all.     As we look to improve the platform we will definitely keep this in mind. Your donor's privacy is important to us as well. We will keep you in the loop when we start to investigate this further. As a potential suggestion, your donors do have the ability to make their donations anonymous but do understand it hides the information from the fundraiser.

    We do force a minimum of $1 on all campaign pages and love the idea of setting a different minimum level, as of now this is not on our roadmap to update but will definitely keep an eye on this request as we get more feedback.

    We have a lot of offline donations that we add at a time. Currently the only way to add offline donations is one-by-one. We would like a way to add multiple offline donations quickly.
